I don't see that anyone has grabbed the date so I'll say Sept 22nd. It would be nice to see the Cubs clinch in New York.

I really hope its not much later than that, but knowing the Cubs... I wouldn't put any money on any date.

Clinch against the Cards with a game on WGN... I'll be there visually.

I am a bit hesitant to make a guess, you know, tempting fate and all....but what the heck. I'll jump in.

My guess for the date the Cubs will clinch is September 27th. That is my 11th anniversary and I couldn't think of a better gift. My wife is a huge Cubs fan as well.

I'm no good at any kind of roulette, but I'll try my luck with the 28th. Now, spin that clinching wheel!

I'm going to go ahead and say Sept 19th, if for no other reason than it's my birthday. Cool

I don't even know if that's mathematically possible, but that's my story and I'm sticking to it

If I've learned anything from baseball highlights this season, it's that bobble head nights are usually good luck for the home team...

I'll take the 25th after the Cubbies SWEEP the Mets!

Ooops, I guess someone already has the 25th, guess I can settle for the 26th then after the Cubs beat down on those bones heads to the north!!!

You can pick the 25th if you think it's going to be that date. It's not a first come, first serve basis. There's not enough dates between now and the end of the year to accommodate everyone having their own.

I picked the 24th, which I didn't realize had been picked by someone else until I reread the thread a couple of days later, and saw that was the date the OP had picked. Oh well...

My vote is for September 18th. But that's mostly because I will be sitting in the bleachers for that game.

I called it more than a month ago and it's on the verge of coming true... this has the chance to be the best Cubs related week of my life after driving up to Milwaukee for the no hitter and then potentially this!

Sadly my fate rests in the hands of Jason Marquis against Ben Sheets... but you never know.
