I have been hard on the Cubs this year. Negative in almost all my comments and predictions. Time for me to start thinking positive. I have a feeling the toughest decisions Lou will be faced with in the 2nd half is which players to play because they are all HOT!! Hitting wise that is. They are going to be hitting the ball all over the field and running the bases like men on fire. Finding home plate time and time again..and again. Climbing back into the race and exciting the fans. BIG Z is gonna come back, apologize, pump the team up, and lead them to victory after sweet victory. Let's stuff some Chicago style pizza down the Phillies throat and send'em out hating cheesesteaks!! GO CUBS GO!! _________________ Cubs in year 100 |

I think you should go out and get an umbrella.
In case it rains on your parade. |

I respect your optimism and politely disagree. _________________ “Chicago Cubs fans are ninety percent scar tissue.” |

After being offline for 3 weeks and having spent some time catching up with the chat here I did have to wonder if the 2010 season has caused some of our forum dwellers to lose touch with reality (Joe Girardi for manager??; a DLee for Buster Posey trade???). However I did enjoy 2109WorldChamps burst of optimism, even though I feel it is probably misplaced... _________________ Wha's like us? Damn few and they're a' deid! |

I'm sticking with the optimism. 3 out of 4 from Phils. Who's next? Houston, you have a problem! _________________ Cubs in year 100 |

Cubs averaging 7.83 runs per game since their return from AS break. Nice!
However, pitching is giving up 6.17 runs per game.
There always bad with the good. |
